A Bit of a Beauty Haul

Hello everyone, hope you're all well! Sorry for not posting lately, I have some exciting posts to make up for it this week though (excuses, excuses). Over the past month or so I've done a bit of shopping in Boots and the Cosmetics Company store and thought I'd share my purchases with you!
Starting with perhaps my most exciting purchase, MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Creme Cup, which I grabbed for a bargainus price of £10.50 from the Cosmetics Company Store. Usually at makeup outlets you find yellow eyeshadows and super-glittery blushers so I was over the moon to find this gem! Another high end splurge was the Benefit Porefessional Primer which I've been lusting after since I received a sample back in November. I went to Boots looking to buy the Stay Flawless Primer but the lady advised that the Porefessional would be better for shine control and makeup wearability. Thus it fell into my hands and I dashed for the till (quite literally)!

I also picked up a new face wash from Neutrogena which smells absolutely amazing! The Pore and Shine Daily Scrub was on offer at Boots and anything that promises shine control I'm all over! A little while back I also picked up the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze which every blogger and their dog barks on about and a Sinful Colours polish in Boogie Nights which I've yet to try.

I hope you enjoyed this little haul and I'll talk to you all soon! Have you picked up any beauty products lately?

Haul #1 || Lipsticks, Lipsticks, Lipsticks

Hello everyone, hope you're all well! Please excuse the lack of posts these past two weeks but I've come down with a severe case of bloggers block. I have a few planned reviews and NOTDs, but if you have any suggestions of posts you may like to read feel free to comment them below! Now, did anyone say lipsticks?
In the last week I've done a spot of shopping and have managed to acquire a selection of lipsticks, all under £10! If you would like a more in detail review of a particular shade, just leave a comment and I'll be sure to do one!
From left; Rose Petal, Jewel, Bare, Nectar, Juicy, Shade 12 and Shade 1.
Rose Petal is a gorgeous pink-y nude shade which I find to be very moisturising and easy for everyday wear! It is also a cheap and cheerful at £1.99! Jewel is a pH reactive lip tint which creates a personal shade, suited to compliment the wearer! Although Topshop claims this is orange, it's pink on my lips, but more on that later. Another lovely nude, Bare, is only £1 from MUA and the quality is far beyond the price!
Nectar is a lovely bright coral-y pink, whilst Juicy is more subtle! Shade 12, although very sadly unnamed, is a sparkly pink and Shade 1 is a deep, vampy red. The formula and pigmentation of these MUA lipsticks is great, and soon I'll be back to buy the whole collection!
From left; Rose Petal, Jewel, Bare, Nectar, Juicy, Shade 12 and Shade 1.
As you can see Jewel is a magenta shade when swatched and on my lips, but it's different on everyone!
Nectar and Juicy were my two favourites, definitely worth a swatch when you're next in Superdrug!

A spot of shopping...

So I recently went to Boots to pick up a few items that I have been meaning to try for a while but some other products accidently fell into my basket at the same time.

Butter Yourself
I have been meaning to buy this for a while as it is the same Fruitigo Fragrance as their award winning body scrub Pulp Friction. I love Soap and Glory body butters but I have to say I prefer the scent of their Original Righteous Butter.

Chocolate Bronzing Powder
I am renaming this Bourjois product as the French title is too hard to remember and I'm pretty sure everyone just calls it the chocolate bronzer anyway. After trying this out for a couple of weeks I think the product is overhyped as the pigmentation is awful and it doesn't smell like chocolate anyway.

Coral Shimmer lipstick
This product by Natural Collection looks awful in the bullet but on the lips is a far prettier, deep coral shade. So glad I bought this as it was only £1.99.

Pink Cloud Blusher
I really love the Peach Melba blush from Natural Collection and wanted to try out some of the others. This blusher has not disappointed and has taken the prime blush spot in my makeup draw.

Great Lash
I have had the chance to use this for a while now and have come to the conclusion that it is rather good. The packaging and inexpensive price tag make this product even better.

Smokin Hot nail varnish
We all love Essie but I particularly like their colour range. This colour isn't my usual orange or mint but I absolutely love it. Expect to see an NOTD with this soon.

Glow Job
This is a facial bronzing lotion from Soap and Glory that comes out white. Bronzeburst  beads can be released when rubbed between the fingers and then blended on to the face for a gorgeous natural glow. I don't quite remember putting this on my shopping list but I'm so glad I convinced myself to buy it.

Elle Magazine- June 2013
So I only really bought for the free They're Real mascara (love) and as a bit of a treat!

What have you been buying lately?
