I feel like I haven't given my YouTube channel a proper introduction on the ol' blog and have just left one or two videos floating on the side bar. Easy to miss. So I thought that instead of scribbling down the ins and outs of my loves this month, I would babble away to a camera. Items beginning with B seem to have been what's got me ticking this January, with special mentions to Bobbi Brown, Bourjois Colour Boosts, Birthdays and Benedict Cumberbatch. The lighting isn't perfect and some of my other videos have been better, but anyway, here's my January Favourites.

Beauty at the Bedside
Hello everyone, hope you're all well! Today I thought I would do a quick post showing you my bedside table beauty products that I'm using at the moment. As you can probably see there is rather a lot of Soap and Glory but I am a fully confirmed addict for the stuff! My skin is quite dehydrated so I tend to use quite moisturising products along with anything that smells sweet or relaxing (if a scent can be relaxing that is).
This isn't the original S&G scent but a more tangy, Orange and Lemon Fruit Acid Smoothers inspired smell which is very refreshing. The moisturising benefits are pretty good, especially in the winter with some woolly socks on. Keeping it by my bed also reminds me to use it more often!
Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate
I'm not that great when it comes to oils and serums but this gorgeous, rose scented bottle of wonder is something I'm pretty sure I couldn't live without. I use this after cleansing and toning twice a week to help balance out the oils in my skin. All the ingredients used are natural and this is definitely a product for before bed.
Clinique Repairwear Uplifting Moisturiser
(15ml sample size pictured)
I apply this after toning or using the Liz Earle Oil as at times my skin can be more sensitive and this is perfect. Although scentless, this does a great job at moisturising the skin- not sure it's worth the £52 pricetag though!
The Righteous Butter by Soap and Glory
I think everyone has owned a tub of this at least once in their life, the iconic packaging and smell is something not to be missed! During the Autumn/Winter months especially, my skin becomes very dry and I've found all the S&G body butters to be great at hydrating and leaving my skin soft.
A Great Kisser Lip Balm By Soap and Glory*
During the day my lips get very dry, particularly if I've been wearing a lipstick, so lip balm is a bedtime essential. Vanilla Bean smells amazing and is non-sticky helping to keep my lips hydrated!
What do you keep on your bedside table?

It seems like ages since I last did one of these type of posts but I thought I'd take the chance to show you a few new products and some old favourites that I've been loving at the moment before school tomorrow. I usually spend most of Sunday thinking about how early I'll have to wake up the next day! Playing around with makeup looks, watching YouTube and meeting friends usually cheers me up! Today I thought I'd go for quite a natural look and use Soap and Glory's Glow All Out powder which I bought recently.
Products Used
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Light
Soap and Glory's Glow All Out Luminizing Radiance Face Powder
Bobbi Brown Everything Mascara

Review || Butter Yourself by Soap and Glory
Hello everyone, hope you're all well! Following my Heel Genius blog post, I promised that I would do some Soap and Glory inspired reviews. About two months ago, there was an offer on at Boots which meant that if you spent £10 you would get Butter Yourself Moisturiser completely free. Not to miss an S&G bargain, I quickly snapped it up.
Let's begin with the smell, something which attracts me to all Soap and Glory products. The Frutigo Fragrance is the same as Pulp Fricton, if you are familiar, and lingers for hours after application. Containing fruitliquid fig and peppermint oil, it is a gorgeous distinctive, fresh, fruity, scent which is absolutely perfect for the summer months.
I usually apply this after a trip to the bath or shower, as recommended by S&G. The body butter also sinks in fairly quickly, limiting sitting in towel time quite drastically! The packaging is the usual pretty pink and holds 300ml of the fabulous thick creamy product which works wonders on my dry knees and elbows.
As you can probably tell, I love this body butter very much and have been using it constantly all month. I even have a sneaky feeling that I may prefer this to the Original Righteous Butter on the grounds that the formula is more exfoliating and softening whilst taking less time to sink in.
Available from Boots for £10.50, although S&G is currently on a 3 for 2.
Which is your favourite body butter? Any other Soap and Glory recommendations?
Until next time Soap and Glory lovers...

Review || Heel Genious by Soap and Glory
It all begun about two years ago with a hand cream named Hand Food. I can't deny it any longer, I can't pretend it's not going on, for I am a Soap and Glory addict and my bathroom is dedicated to the stuff. There, I've said it.The underlying guilt of this blog post has completely gone and I can safely say that I own three, yes, three tubes of Heel Genius and I don't care what anybody thinks. As I seem to have acquired so many S&G products, I have decided that over the next month or so I shall review them all, express my likes and dislikes and then maybe buy some more.
Anyway, back to the review. This 125ml tube is currently retailing for £5.50 at Boots (Oh and what a surprise, S&G is currently on a 3for2, you don't see that very often- note the sarcasm) which I think is perfectly reasonable, if not quite a bargain! Now before we get carried away with ourselves, this is no ordinary Soap and Glory smelling product. In fact, it's quite minty. Containing orange & lemon fruit acid smoothers and macadamia oil, I'm starting to see the origins of the smell. Although I do prefer the traditional scent, this one has grown on me quite considerably.
The packaging is the infamous Soap and Glory pink, while the easy to squeeze, flip-top opening tube is sturdy and allows just the right amount of product to come out. I try to use this product every night (although in reality it's more like four times a week) and have discovered a way to use it that works for me. Initially I did what it said on the tube and smothered a good few layers of the cream onto my feet, put on my slipper socks, and went to sleep. However, for the Summer I find that I don't want to be wearing socks to bed and I prefer massaging a thin layer onto my feet and going to sleep sans socks. Both the methods keep my skin soft and seem to do the anti-dry heel trick!
Oh, and did I mention that it comes out a minty blue? Slightly disconcerting the first time I used it!
So as you can probably guess, I would definitely recommend this to a friend and I am highly recommending this to all of you!

The Best of May || Beauty
I hope your having a nice day and getting back into the swing of things after an extra long weekend. Part two of the favourites (you can read part one here) is about all things beauty related. There have been many great items that I have been loving this month however I managed to get it down to just 5 products. Hope you enjoy!
If you read a NOTD I did earlier this month, you would recognise this next polish. Pillar Box is a gorgeous red, suitable for any occasion!
This mascara from Benefit has become my new favourite. Oh how have we only just met they're real...
E45 intense recovery lotion is great on really dry skin. I have been loving smothering it on my elbows and knees.
Brace yourselves Ladies and Gentlemen but I think I've found my perfect nude. Fleshpot by MAC is so gorgeous and glides on like a dream. If your near a MAC store, I would suggest going and giving this a little swatch, so that you too can swoon at it in all its glory.
I saw GlowJob reviewed on Zoella's blog a while back and thought it looked really good. I liked the idea of the bronzing beads and the natural glow she claimed it gave.

FOTD #1 || Going Shopping
I have been wanting to do a FOTD for ages but I'm not, lets just say, that natural around the camera. I don't like people taking pictures of me and I'm not one for taking continuous pictures of myself. But hey, I love reading these type of posts and wasn't going to let my awkwardness stop me from doing one!

From left: Collection felt tip liner, MUA pressed powder, Benefit Hello Flawless foundation, Benefit Cabana Glama kit, Benefit they're real mascara, Mac lipstick in fleshpot- satin finish, Simple protecting moisturiser, Bourjois healthy mix concealer, Jack Wills liner in brown, Topshop cream blush in Head over Heels, MUA Undressed palette, Soap and Glory arch de triumph brow pencil, MUA fixing spray and Topshop highlighter in Sunbeam. Phew!

A spot of shopping...
So I recently went to Boots to pick up a few items that I have been meaning to try for a while but some other products accidently fell into my basket at the same time.
Butter Yourself
I have been meaning to buy this for a while as it is the same Fruitigo Fragrance as their award winning body scrub Pulp Friction. I love Soap and Glory body butters but I have to say I prefer the scent of their Original Righteous Butter.
Chocolate Bronzing Powder
I am renaming this Bourjois product as the French title is too hard to remember and I'm pretty sure everyone just calls it the chocolate bronzer anyway. After trying this out for a couple of weeks I think the product is overhyped as the pigmentation is awful and it doesn't smell like chocolate anyway.
Coral Shimmer lipstick
This product by Natural Collection looks awful in the bullet but on the lips is a far prettier, deep coral shade. So glad I bought this as it was only £1.99.
Pink Cloud Blusher
I really love the Peach Melba blush from Natural Collection and wanted to try out some of the others. This blusher has not disappointed and has taken the prime blush spot in my makeup draw.
Great Lash
I have had the chance to use this for a while now and have come to the conclusion that it is rather good. The packaging and inexpensive price tag make this product even better.
Smokin Hot nail varnish
We all love Essie but I particularly like their colour range. This colour isn't my usual orange or mint but I absolutely love it. Expect to see an NOTD with this soon.
Glow Job
This is a facial bronzing lotion from Soap and Glory that comes out white. Bronzeburst beads can be released when rubbed between the fingers and then blended on to the face for a gorgeous natural glow. I don't quite remember putting this on my shopping list but I'm so glad I convinced myself to buy it.
Elle Magazine- June 2013
So I only really bought for the free They're Real mascara (love) and as a bit of a treat!

Everyday Obsessions
I was inspired by this months Company Magazine (where one of my favourite bloggers ,milkteef.com, did an article on her must-have products and things she couldn't live without)to write a blog post about the things I love to use everyday. As I feel that if they are good enough for daily use, then they are good enough for you to read about. It's the little things that make a difference to your day after all! Whether it's waking up to your favourite song on the radio or trying out a new moisturiser that actually makes a difference to your skin, the day just feels so much better. I have compiled a list of five things that I use (and drink) religiously. They are my everyday obsessions.
What products could you not live without?
- The Body Shop's Lip Butter in Chocomania. This smells delicious and chocolaty whilst maintaining moisture on the lips.
- Benefit's bestselling foundation Hello Flawless has been a staple in my makeup bag recently. I love how it makes my skin look glowy and has an SPF of 25.
- A long time lover of mine, Soap and Glory's Hand Food will always have a special place in my heart.
- Simple's kind to skin moisturising Facial Wash is something I use morning and night for a fresh feel that make my skin look thoroughly cleansed.
- I couldn't last the day without Green Tea with a hint of lemon. This makes me feel so healthy and it's tasty too!

Review || Soap and Glory Clear Here Moisturiser
I have been on a hunt for moisturisers that are good for oily to combination skin. In most parts my skin is normal but I do, however, go through dry and oily skin phases. Cue Clear Here. If there is one thing I don't get about the product it's the name. Clear Here makes me automatically think of a spot treatment or is that just me? Anyway, back to the actual product. The formulae is quite gel like and the lotion comes out pale blue! I find that it does what it says on the tin, 'T-zone oil control' and great for a low end product. The moisturiser has pore shrinking effects and is good for mattifying the skin.
Have you tried this moisturiser? What do you think?
Available to buy from boots here.

Review || Soap and glory Arch De Triumph eyebrow pencil
Creating the perfect brow can completely change the way your face looks. Soap and glory's, 'Arch De Triumph' is the latest brow crayon that I have been trying out. Here's what I thought...
The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, which is to be expected of S&G.
The pencil lids don't fall off in my makeup bag and the packaging is very sturdy.
Most brow pencils tend to look like your eyebrow has been drawn in and very fake, however the taupe coloured pencil is very natural looking . Although I feel that the pencil needs warming up before use to create any pigmentation, which can be quite frustrating. The highlighter is very pigmented and creamy and doesn't emphasise any pores.
Overall I really enjoy using this pencil but would try it before buying, due the £8 price tag, how hard the pencil is to apply and the little variation in colour.
If you do feel like giving this crayon a go you can buy it from here.
