Space Girl

If I'm ever in need of a little pick me up or just want some time to relax, a hot chocolate, Netflix subscription and a bath filled with anything from Lush is definitely my way to go. recently I popped into my local Lush and picked up the 'Space Girl' bath bomb. The scent was very sweet and reminded me of something Soap & Glory might have produced, however the colour did fade and leave a faint purple for the majority of the bath. I probably wouldn't buy this again as I'm sure there are less expensive bath bits and bobs that do a similar job and linger longer in the water. Never the less it was a lovely bath and I'll be heading to Lush again soon!

What bath bombs do you recommend?

Re-painting my Dressing Table.

This summer I thought it would be a good idea to re-paint some of the furniture in my room for a bit of a change and to add some light to the darker areas in my room. The first on my list was my dressing table, which I had painted light blue the previous year.

I decided to use Annie Sloan paint as it meant I wouldn't have to sand down the dressing table before painting over the previous colour. I applied the wax after to ensure the paint wouldn't wear down.
The white brings a lot more light to the corner of my room and my dressing table is now the perfect area to store and do my make up, as well as being a great background for blog pictures. Now, what to paint next..

Italien Ice cream and Moonlit Walks‏

A few weeks ago I hopped on a plane heading to Italy for a school trip. The first place we stopped off was Rome where I ate one to many Nutella ice creams! Rome is a beautiful city and if I ever did go back it would definitely be in the Autumn, I can imagine walking through the streets with the cool, frigid air breezing past.
Florence was the second place we visited and the atmosphere was a lot more calmer and relaxed than Rome. It was probably my favourite of the three places!

The last few days were spent in Venice. This was how I imagined Italy to be. My favourite night was the last were my friends and I sat near the edge of the water, waving at passing by boats and laughing at random thoughts.

Back to Blogging‏

It's been a while, hasn't it? I'd like to say that I've been having lots of exciting adventures or at least planning them, however my reason for having left such a long time between this post and the previous is because I stupidly tipped a glass of water over my keyboard. E N & B are the only letters that work which is handy when it comes to Google searching Benedict Cumberbatch - but not much else! I was also starting to feel that writing my blog was something I had to do rather than something I wanted to do. Taking a back seat from the keyboard has allowed me to get excited about blogging again and I have lot's of different ideas that I hope you'll enjoy reading soon.

Sweet dreams x

Etsy Top 11

Etsy is the home of all things handmade and unique. I thought that I would put together a little blog post of some of my favourite sellers and highlight some of my favourite items in their Etsy shops.  From the bits and bobs that I've chosen you can probably tell what some of my favourite books and movies are...
This Etsy seller hand makes affordable mugs, signs and more. This particular mug is necessary for any Harry Potter fan and there is currently a 10% of code on their Facebook page.

Nikki is a Scottish seller who describes her Etsy shop as, 'Bold, Witty and Biscuity.' As a long term fan of the custard cream this cushion caught my eye and is also available in supersize.
This Etsy shop is great for all thing party related and these inexpensive fairy lights would look pretty around a mirror or bed frame.

Peg And Awl describe their etsy shop as, 'Treasures for the home, garden & body built from abandoned materials.' This gorgeous bag is limited edition and is ideal for travelling.

New Goods
When I stumbled across this I had to put it in a blog post because it is just so darn great. I really love the simplicity of this wall hanging and it looks amazing against the brick wall.
 Damon Salvatore Notebook
My love for Damon Salvatore is greater than my love for most things. His face plus a sarcastic line on notebook? Yes please.

Meow Bag
This shopping bag is perfect for any cat lovers and is also available in a more sturdy print.

Invisible Crown has lots of little notebooks, bags and prints of various TV shows including the Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars and is just my cup of tea.

Oh gosh, Cindy
Clueless is one of my all-time favourite films and now Cher's infamous 'Ugh, as if!' line has been put onto phone cases, t-shirts and prints. This is probably my top pick out of all the items.

Pobble and Ping
These pencils will definitely be making an appearance on my desk soon and are ideal for any Mean Girls fan. They're 'So fetch!' (Sorry I had to)

 Fig and Yarrow
This seller provides organic skincare which are perfect for de-toxifying and clearing the skin. The Clay masks all contain different ingredients creating unique formuations and are only £11.

Herbivore Botanicals
The pictured little spa gift set is perfect for a friend or family member in need of relaxation. Herbivore Botanicals say, 'All of our products are made with 100% natural plant oils and 100% natural minerals.'

Clothing Bits & Bobs

A few weeks ago I made two little online orders from Topshop and We Are Hairy People (an ASOS marketplace boutique).  As summer is fast approaching I needed a few lighter clothes to add to my wardrobe. Me being me this involved a jumper and jeans, not ready to bare my legs just yet. I thought I’d share my findings…

These Topshop Joni Jeans are really comfy and in a lighter denim which is perfect for summer. They wash really well and the high-wasted fit is flattering and works well with shorter tops. The WAHP sweatshirt has an arrangement of 3D drawn pyramids which looks really different to a lot of items in my wardrobe. The material is also quite light but as it is a jumper it is great for a British summer. The WAHP Mean Girls themed t-shirt is also very unique and is perfect paired with the jeans and an ice cream.

p.s. sorry for not posting as often, i've had exams.
