Etsy Top 11

Etsy is the home of all things handmade and unique. I thought that I would put together a little blog post of some of my favourite sellers and highlight some of my favourite items in their Etsy shops.  From the bits and bobs that I've chosen you can probably tell what some of my favourite books and movies are...
This Etsy seller hand makes affordable mugs, signs and more. This particular mug is necessary for any Harry Potter fan and there is currently a 10% of code on their Facebook page.

Nikki is a Scottish seller who describes her Etsy shop as, 'Bold, Witty and Biscuity.' As a long term fan of the custard cream this cushion caught my eye and is also available in supersize.
This Etsy shop is great for all thing party related and these inexpensive fairy lights would look pretty around a mirror or bed frame.

Peg And Awl describe their etsy shop as, 'Treasures for the home, garden & body built from abandoned materials.' This gorgeous bag is limited edition and is ideal for travelling.

New Goods
When I stumbled across this I had to put it in a blog post because it is just so darn great. I really love the simplicity of this wall hanging and it looks amazing against the brick wall.
 Damon Salvatore Notebook
My love for Damon Salvatore is greater than my love for most things. His face plus a sarcastic line on notebook? Yes please.

Meow Bag
This shopping bag is perfect for any cat lovers and is also available in a more sturdy print.

Invisible Crown has lots of little notebooks, bags and prints of various TV shows including the Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars and is just my cup of tea.

Oh gosh, Cindy
Clueless is one of my all-time favourite films and now Cher's infamous 'Ugh, as if!' line has been put onto phone cases, t-shirts and prints. This is probably my top pick out of all the items.

Pobble and Ping
These pencils will definitely be making an appearance on my desk soon and are ideal for any Mean Girls fan. They're 'So fetch!' (Sorry I had to)

 Fig and Yarrow
This seller provides organic skincare which are perfect for de-toxifying and clearing the skin. The Clay masks all contain different ingredients creating unique formuations and are only £11.

Herbivore Botanicals
The pictured little spa gift set is perfect for a friend or family member in need of relaxation. Herbivore Botanicals say, 'All of our products are made with 100% natural plant oils and 100% natural minerals.'

Clothing Bits & Bobs

A few weeks ago I made two little online orders from Topshop and We Are Hairy People (an ASOS marketplace boutique).  As summer is fast approaching I needed a few lighter clothes to add to my wardrobe. Me being me this involved a jumper and jeans, not ready to bare my legs just yet. I thought I’d share my findings…

These Topshop Joni Jeans are really comfy and in a lighter denim which is perfect for summer. They wash really well and the high-wasted fit is flattering and works well with shorter tops. The WAHP sweatshirt has an arrangement of 3D drawn pyramids which looks really different to a lot of items in my wardrobe. The material is also quite light but as it is a jumper it is great for a British summer. The WAHP Mean Girls themed t-shirt is also very unique and is perfect paired with the jeans and an ice cream.

p.s. sorry for not posting as often, i've had exams.

Easter Beauty Swap

Not so long ago Chloe contacted me and asked if I’d like to take part in an Easter beauty swap that she was running. Of course I said yes, agreed to the budget of £10 and was paired with the lovely Beki. We exchanged a few emails about the products we liked and disliked as well as pottering around each others blogs to get an idea of what the other blogger would like. Then a few weeks ago I received an exciting package in the post full of lots of lovely bits and bobs that Beki had very generously picked out for me.

The first things she sent me were the Montagne Jeunesse face masks which are perfect for oily skin; I’ve already used both of them! Beki also gave me the Sinful Colour’s nail polish in Island coral, a Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick and the Rimmel Stay Blushed in 004 which are ideal for spring. Next, I received the Collection Work the Colour Nude eye palette and Rimmel Scandaleyes pencil in Bluffing. Both of these look really pretty blended together to create a subtle smoky eye.

Beki put so much thought into this box so I’d just like to thank her again!

Fairylights.

There's nothing (well there are a few things) I like more than curling up with a book, hot chocolate (yes, I know it's April) and my cat. In these lazy evenings I also like to light a scented candle (feeling like a real blogger here) and flick on the fairy lights. The ones pictured above are from Primark Home and just add a little somethin' somethin' to my room.

I'm in the midst of sorting out my dressing table at the moment and some little flower lights will look pretty hanging around the mirror, especially in the evenings. Also, when I was little I used to have some fairy lights around the headboard of my bed which I switched on when my dad read me Harry Potter, so they always remind me of that.

The Best of March

Hello, me again! Today I thought I'd share some of my favourite beauty products and random musings from the month of March. This month I seem to have rediscovered some old faves in terms of beauty products and have fallen in love with a TV show or two...

The Bourjois Colour Boosts were a big hit last summer with blogger after blogger talking about them, and although there have been many new releases since then, these two in Peach on the Beach and Red Sunrise (currently reduced on The Hut) are perfect for Spring. Another old favourite of mine is the Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara which is perfect for a 'no makeup' makeup look.

The Topshop Cream Blush in Flush is an everyday staple of mine and it's glowy finish is perfect for Spring. I like to use the Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply this so that I don't look like I've just been for a run! Another Real Techniques favourite of mine is the Buffing Brush which works like a dream with liquid foundation.

Moving on to some random favourites, it's Mini Egg season which delights me no end! Sherlock will be mentioned is as many blog posts as possible (that is deemed sane) and although I've talked about it quite a few times this year I thought another little mention couldn't do any harm. I've also been watching the Vampire Diaries for the past few months and have one thing to say to you all. Damon Salvatore.

What bits and bobs have you been loving this March?
